Unsung Heroes

One of the goals of Community Giveaways is to find people who are already doing good in the community and provide extra resources to expand what they are doing. It’s not our job to just give the answer, but we try to provide money and connections to supplement their initiatives.

The “Inner City Ducks”, a youth football program, and “unsung hero” coach Shakeel Nelson in North Minneapolis received the first Community Giveaway in the form of a scholarship. Stephen got the team new equipment & uniforms. Also, Stephen set up a system to help parents cover a portion of the expenses for traveling to games and practices.
